The redevelopment project will involve the construction of a new terminal building, a multi-level car parking facility, a skywalk to connect all the platforms, and the expansion of the circulating area.
The new terminal building will be built over an area of 1,00,000 square feet and will feature world-class amenities and facilities for passengers.
The multi-level car parking facility will have a capacity of over 2,000 cars and will be built to ease the traffic congestion around the station.
The skywalk will connect all the platforms and will make it easier for passengers to move between them.
The circulating area will be expanded to accommodate more people and vehicles, and it will be designed to improve the overall flow of traffic in and around the station.
The redevelopment project is estimated to cost around Rs. 400 crore and is expected to be completed by 2023.
