5 Yoga Asanas to Strengthen Your Eyes


Sit comfortably with your eyes closed, rub your palms together to generate heat, and place your palms gently over your closed eyes. Hold for 30 seconds to a minute and repeat a few times.

Eye rotations

Sit comfortably with your eyes open, and slowly rotate your eyes in a circular motion, first clockwise and then counterclockwise. Repeat 10 times in each direction.

Focus change

Hold your arm out in front of you and focus on your thumb. Then, switch your focus to an object in the distance. Repeat 10 times.

Bhramari pranayama (bee breath)

Close your eyes and inhale deeply. Exhale while making a humming sound like a bee. Repeat for five to 10 breaths.


Sit comfortably with your eyes open and focus your gaze on a small object like a candle flame. Keep your gaze fixed without blinking for as long as possible, then close your eyes and relax for a few minutes. Repeat three to five times.
